Fish fillet 1 per person – you can use salmon or cod
½ cup Yoghurt
2 tbsp mustard ground seeds
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp ginger paste
1 green chilly – with seeds if preferred
2-3 tbsp mustard oil
Wash fish and sprinkle turmeric powder and salt. Make a wet smooth paste of ground mustards seeds, garlic, green chilly, and mustard oil. Add beaten yoghurt and mix well. Spread this paste over the fish fillets and leave to marinade for 10 minutes. Now steam the fish (either in banana leaf or aluminum foil) on high heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until cooked.
